A lot of interest has been generated and new links provided through our Twitter Chats are Booming post. We are very aware that there are lots of social care related events happening every week and we would like to share the hashtags and links through Twitter. We are adopting a silo busting global definition of what social care is! We believe that social care encompasses all of the services which contribute to an individual feeling safe, secure and supported in their local community. This includes: social care, health, education and learning, housing, family and informal care, services for children and young people, employment, transport, police, leisure, community activities, third sector and social enterprises.
